The Wrecking Ball is a steel ball with devastating destructive power.
Game Specific InformationEdit
Wrecking Ball is one of Jonathan Morris's sub-weapon skills in Portrait of Ruin. Once cast, Jonathan will stand in one spot spinning a giant steel ball for as long as the B button is held, unless he's hit in the meantime. After the sub-weapon has been mastered, its appearance changes; the steel ball is now spiked and the length of the chain increases, giving the Wrecking Ball an increase in attack range. Consumes 25 MP per cast.
This sub-weapon returns in Harmony of Despair, mostly remaining the same as in Portrait of Ruin. A notable change, however, is its MP consumption; it only costs 15 MP now, perhaps to compensate for the lower average MP given to the characters, compared to Portrait of Ruin. It is obtained via random chests in The End of Chaos (Chapter 3).

- As is expected of such a heavy weapon, Jonathan swings the Wrecking Ball with great physical force. If he deflects an axe thrown from an Axe Armor enemy by using this sub-weapon, the axe is violently hurled aside, though not enough to actually damage a monster.
