The Double Shot is a powerup item in classic games that allows a wielder to throw two subweapons rapidly back to back. It is sometimes hidden in a breakable block or candle. Additional double shots can be found in normals if you have killed a certain amount of enemies with your current subweapon. If you already have a double shot, a Triple Shot is earned instead, which allows you to use three subweapons quickly. Subweapons still consume the same amount of hearts when utilizing a double or triple shot. If you pick up a different subweapon, you lose any double or triple shots you may have.
