Trevor Belmont is a character from Captain N: The Game Master. His character is a reference to Trevor Belmont from the Castlevania series. Even though he does not make an actual appearance in the series, he is mentioned in the third season episode "Return to Castlevania" (1993).
Just like in Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, he is mentioned to be an ancestor of Simon Belmont. In contrast to the games, however, he is mentioned to be his great-grandfather, while the Trevor Belmont from the Castlevania series predates Simon Belmont by two centuries. This is a result of an error from the American instruction booklet of Dracula's Curse.
In the episode, the Poltergeist King accuses Trevor Belmont of taking credit for defeating The Count. However, this turns out to be a plot by Dracula himself, and he is defeated by the N-Team in the end.
