In Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy, the Totoyan Family has for ages been charged with safeguarding the Vampire Killer whip for the Belmont family until it is needed against Dracula. In Christopher Belmont's time, Pascha Totoyan carries the whip until her grandfather Gaspar hands it to him.

- The role of "holding on" to the whip is very similar to the role of the Morris family, who hold on to it for nearly two centuries until Dracula is reborn in 1999. All of the male members of the Totoyan family die during The Belmont Legacy and Pascha presumably continues the tradition. She may have married a Morris, whose family continued the role until Richter's and Julius's time, even if no official material confirms this theory.
