I think the following notes listed in this section may be incorrect. Just want to get other's thoughts.
- The castle blood is also technically the same that was passed from Walter to Carmilla, and then to Laura, onto Gabriel, Supporting this theory of how the castle demon and Inner Dracula could be one and the same, and shedding new light on the name "Vampire Castle".
1. Walter Bernhard was never mentioned throughout the trilogy as being a vampire but he has been mentioned as belonging to a family of powerful sorcerors. The Toy Maker's play further confirms this and never makes mention him being vampiric in nature.
2. Carmilla's vampiric blood did not originate from the castle and then get passed onto her. She was turned into a powerful vampire after her altruistic and good self ascended into Heaven, leaving behind a "Lord of Shadow"
3. The source of the castle's blood as it is seen in LoS2 is from Dracula and Dracula alone. This is confirmed in the Inner Dracula bio from the game itself as well as the dialogue during the boss encounter Gabriel has with it.
4. The original pact that the Berhnards made with a demon is said to only have resulted in the castle being inhabited by creatures of darkness. (Source: in game bio of one of the castle creatures in Revelation dlc). From what we can gather from actual source material, the castle didn't gain sentience until Dracula became it's Lord and his blood invaded the castle (Source: in game bio of one of the castle creatures in the revelation dlc)
Gabriel's bond to the castle was eternal as stated in Dracula's bio. Notice how after Carmilla died, the castle did not crumble. She was not attached to it in the same manner Dracul is.
Hope this helps clear things up and no disrespect meant to the original editor. The Castle's lore has been vague at times and can be difficult to accurately piece together.
