The Thorn Whip is a weapon found in Castlevania: Simon's Quest and is an upgrade to the Leather Whip. It is found in the first town for sale for the price of 100 hearts. Its appearance is similar to the leather whip, though is longer and doles out twice as much damage.
The player can still purchase a Thorn Whip even if he has stronger weapon.Later on in the game he can purchase and upgraded Chain Whip.
