Theaters have occasionally appeared in a few Castlevania titles. They usually comprise only one big room of a larger stage, but it's worth mentioning them for the visual impact they produce to the player when they suddenly enter one, where the atmosphere drastically changes in comparison to the general theme of the rest of the level. Theaters usually appear only as backgrounds, where several rows of seats look toward a distant stage with big red curtains.
In Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, one of the stages is the theater building itself and is conformed by several halls, hallways and parlors, with the main stage located at the center of the stage, where the boss battle takes place.
