I wouldn't think Golem's theme was chosen just because of its recent remix in OoE. Just the title of that song sums up what Golem is supposed to be, a doll with no will of his own. [edit] Aria of Sorrow Iron golem isent invicible

Actualy it is possible to defeat the Iron Golem in the game Aria of Sorrow without the use of the killer mantle. However because of its 9999 hitpoints and defence that is so high that everything does one point of damage (with the exception of the balmug punch) the feat takes over twenty minutes to accomplish as each hitpoint is whittled down one by one. It is best to use the first and only Iron golem in the catle near the top of the map and use a gun weapon to safely shoot him with. Other usefull weapons are the rippers knife, wherewolf flame, Balmug punch, and ghost as most of those manage to still do one point of damage but do several of these in rapid succession.
