Article locked, correcting some minor inaccuracies[]

A few notes since the article is currently locked, hope someone can add this in:

"Newhalf" as a term, does not refer solely to trans women; while it is sometimes used in that manner, it's also used interchangeably to refer to transvestites. It basically means "someone who appears female but has male genitals". There are more specific terms used to refer specifically to transgender women in Japanese, and a post-op trans woman would not be referred to as a "newhalf".

"Okama", likewise, doesn't really translate to "shemale", it's more of a general term used to apply to gay men or any sort of male sexual minority. It's traditionally a derogatory term, but some gay men have reclaimed it as well. This is most prevalent in the "okama" subculture, which is kind of akin to drag queens; it's primarily comprised of gay men who dress as women (and view themselves as such, unlike someone who is transgender). Given the Yuki-Okama's design, I assume this is the intended meaning behind the use of the word specifically.

Obviously not all of this is necessary to state in the article, I just figured I should fully explain the context so whoever edits it can do so with that in mind.

Given that Konami doesn't really specify if the character is intended to be a trans woman or simply a crossdresser, I'd personally avoid using gendered pronouns in the article at all, but that's just me. BubbleRevolution (talk) 16:56, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
