The Stained Glass Knight will burst from decorative stained glass windows and will attack with his sword and/or with little glass shards. He has played different roles throughout the Castlevania series of games, appearing as a boss, a mid-boss, or simply as lesser enemies.

Game Specific InformationEdit

Haunted CastleEdit

Known only as Giant in his first appearance in the series, he is the end boss of the Banquet Room stage.

Castlevania ChroniclesEdit

Known as Splinter in this game. He is the mid-boss of the Cathedral stage. He will burst out of a stained glass window in the background, while the Simon is climbing up a series of stairs. A hovering mass of glass shards will float around Splinter to shield him from harm. Once he has sustained enough damage, he will burst into little glass pieces but his "shield" will remain in place, float up in the air, and break into little glass shards toward Simon, in a rain of projectiles that can be hard to dodge.

Castlevania (Nintendo 64) / Castlevania: Legacy of DarknessEdit

In both of these games, they are just lesser enemies who appear in a couple of rooms in the Villa stage. They are extremely weak and it seems that their only purpose is to provide the player with means to stock up on Red Jewels, as they always drop one when defeated (small or big). They also respawn frequently in the same rooms.
