A ghost child who runs crying to his daddy when he's beaten, who then continues the fight. They guard the Castle Keep in Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun and Kid Dracula. In Kid Dracula, the father also cries to his father when he's beaten, but the grandfather ghost is not very effective, collapsing after walking across the room and back. The addition of the grandfather caused the trio to be known as the "Spirits of Halloween Past, Present and Future". This represents the first time in a Castlevania game that a ghost has been a boss. The ghosts basically just jump around the screen to attack. The symbol on their foreheads in the Famicom version is commonly misinterpreted to be a Nazi swastika, but it's actually a manji. It should also be noted that in the Japanese version of Kid Dracula, the ghost trio do have the manji symbols on their foreheads.
