Small slime and Large Slime appear in the Catacombs stage in the regular castle. The small slime is rather slow and moves toward the player, and is colored green, it can crawl along floors, walls, & ceilings. The large slime is brownish/red in color and is significantly bigger than the small slime, it seems to have "teeth" of some sort which it does not use for attacking, it also possesses a leaping attack in which it will jump forward a short distance for contact damage. Immune/Tolerance: cut, Weakness: club.

The Slime in Harmony of Dissonance is a force to be reckoned with. It follows the traditional movement method of hopping around, and should a hero run underneath it, the Slime will harden and shape itself as a spiked ball, falling down rapidly in hopes to squash the hero.

In Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, the slimes look and move just like their counterparts in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. They slither, not hop, along surfaces, never leaving a platform unless a hero passes by over, under, or to the side of them. Then they will leap up, down, or to the sides in order to hit the hero.
While they don't cause any status effects (also true for Dawn of Sorrow), they do have a nasty new feature. When a hero walks up to them, the Slime will stretch itself outwards, and try and hit the hero via a "Whiplash" effect. This makes them, and their cousin the Tanjelly more dangerous than before!
