Skull Knight
Talk0this wiki
The Skull Knight is a boss version of the Skull Swordsman that first appeared in Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse as the boss of Stage 1. It is an amalgam of various bones, including a dragonlike skull, found in a graveyard at the end of the level. Its only attack is a quick downward slash, but it can also damage Trevor by touching him. A stronger version of this boss, the Skull Knight King, is the boss of Stage 5 in the same game.
The boss reappears in Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance as the boss of the Skeleton Cave in Castle B. Here, it has three forms that change when it loses HP. Its first form has a sword and shield and attack by stabbing at Juste. After losing enough HP, it falls to pieces. It regenerates from its shield and drops its sword. Now it attacks mainly by dashing quickly. After losing more HP, it repeats its rebuilding sequence, then drops its shield. In this final form, it can shoot a large laser from its chest that travels across the room.
