The Skeleton Biker is an enemy in the Castlevania series. They are skeletons who ride on motorcycles.

Description

Skeletons mounted on motorcycles who attempt to run over the player. Some varieties come with an attached sidecar from which a skeletal companion manning a machine gun opens fire at the player. The vehicles appear to be military, probably belonging to the World War I era.

These enemies first appeared in Castlevania (N64) during the final battle against the King Skeleton. They reappeared in Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, this time only encountered inside the Villa, riding on the hedge maze's sidepath. When destroyed, they generally leave behind good loot consisting in several gold bags, red jewels, and restorative items.

Trivia

  • Even though Castlevania (N64) and Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness take place in 1844-1852 (depending on the character's story), the motorcycle was not invented until 1885 (and the sidecar in 1893). Furthermore, the models appearing in the games appear to belong to the World War I era, which took place from 1914 to 1918. An explanation for their existence in these games could be the result of Dracula's Castle being able to draw power from other universes and time periods.
