The Silver Gun fires an unlimited amount of silver bullets and it's more powerful than the Handgun. It's not good for fighting against strong and close-range enemies, but it's very effective in picking off weak enemies at a good distance (zombies, skeletons and other creatures). Its special attack consists in firing two shots at a time, inflicting even more damage.
Game Specific Information
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
This weapon can be found in the Arena (Hard Mode). Unlike its counterpart, the Handgun, the Silver Gun doesn't suffer from the half damage penalty. Its hit interval is on par with the Handgun, though. Its bullet also can't pierce neither an enemy nor an object such as a candle or a wall.

Trivia
- Due to the Silver Gun's blessed silver-based ammunition, it was likely intended to be primary used against werewolves, witches, and other monsters who are believed to be vulnerable to silver.
