- On the English localizations, the ring is sometimes mistakenly said to have been worn by Satan. When this is not the case, the ring still keeps the name "Satan's Ring", implying that it once belonged to Satan. On the original Japanese, both the ring's name and description are actually referring to Dracula, who is the Dark Lord. The confusion stems from the fact that the Japanese word used to refer to Dracula (魔王の Maō no) appears on the ring's name and description, and is the same word understood by the ocident to mean "Satan", which probably escaped the localization team's attention. Another evidence for this is the fact that the ring in Aria of Sorrow bears a bat motif, a symbol most commonly associated with Dracula.
