Red Axe Armors are a variant of the normal Axe Armor. In Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Dracula X, they were similar to a normal Axe Armor except that they would charge more often. In Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, they were soaked in blood and could re-assemble when destroyed. This is similar to how Red Skeletons revive when destroyed.
