Pumpkin has a special sub-weapon, named after none other than itself. Like many of the secret playable characters in Koji Igarashi's Castlevania games, it has very little health but unbelievable super-strength, which actually adds a Droopy-esque sense of humor to the game.
- If Pumpkin stands still, it will hum Joachim's theme song, Melancholy Joachim.
- Pumpkin's dying cries are actually Joachim's cries, only sped up. This happens in both games for the PlayStation 2.
- Pumpkin reappears in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness as an Innocent Devil.
- ↑ "A very rare weapon said to have the power to resurrect a legendary hero." - Pumpkin Mace description.
