Tasty Meat (alternately translated from Japanese as Delicious Meat or Enchanted Meat) is a food item that appears in several Castlevania games. It is referred to as "tasty" to distinguish it from Rotten Meat or to indicate it gives more health than normal meat. It is often called a Pot Roast in North American games. Aeon the Chef discovered that using Tasty Meat in his dishes was better for business.

In Symphony of the NightEdit

Tasty Meat is referred to as Pot Roast in the North American localization of Symphony of the Night. It increases HP by +50.

In Circle of the MoonEdit

Tasty Meat is referred to as a Spiced Meat in the North American localization of Circle of the Moon.

In Aria of SorrowEdit

Can be found at the begining of the game, on a ledge accross a long body of water (filled of Killer Fish). It is also dropped by Killer Fish. It is a rare & useful food item.

In Dawn of SorrowEdit

A rare & useful food item. Is rarely dropped by the Gorgon enemy.

In Portrait of RuinEdit

This item is represented by different spite from the one used for this item in Aria of Sorrow & Dawn of Sorrow. It is a rare drop item of the Catoblepas enemy.

In Order of EcclesiaEdit

It uses the same sprite from Portrait of Ruin. It can occasionally be found in Rare Boxes within Somnus Reef. It can as be found within a breakable ledge located within the Nightmare Gate Section of Dracula's Castle.

Tasty Meat is the ingredient need to complete Aeon the Chef's 3rd & Final Quest Item. After giving him one, the items Curry & Thick Steak can then be purchased at Jacob's Store. The Tasty Meat item itself can not be bought, nor is it dropped by enemies.
