A Pendant is an accessory that is hung around the neck by a necklace, and which can grant special powers in the Castlevania series.
The first pendant in Castlevania was called the Mystic Pendant in the localized North American version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It could increase the rate of MP recovery and was replaced by the Cipher's Charm in Harmony of Dissonance.
Items called "pendants" in later games were described as "ordinary" or "plain". These items gave a small amount of stat boosts. It increases DEF by +1 in Harmony of Dissonance. It increases LCK by +1 in Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, and is also inferior to the Lucky Charm in both games. It is also surpassed by the Heart Pendant, which provides both, a small LCK and a small DEF boost.
