The Owl Knight is a Sword Knight clad in blue, wielding a sword and with an Owl enemy perched on his shoulder. When he spots the player, he sends the owl to attack, which is essentially the same attack pattern as the normal owl enemy. He will also place his hand on his sword and begin to draw, then rush forward and swing. Its timing is unusual, so this attack is sometimes hard to dodge.
If the owl is killed first, the knight will shout: "No!", run to where it fell and kneel next to it. If the player is between the knight and the owl, he will swing at them as he runs.
Probably the most humane of Dracula's minions, due their affection to their winged companions.
In Symphony of the Night, the knight is vulnerable as he mourns his owl, so killing the owl first is a great tactic to deal with him. If the knight is killed first, the owl will swoop down and hover over his kneeling body for a few moments. The owl is also vulnerable during this time. They can be found in the Entrance and in the Colosseum.
In Order of Ecclesia, Owl Knights are found outside of the castle, in Argila Swamp. Due to the reduced mobility in the marshlands, sometimes it's difficult to attack both enemies effectively at the same time. Unlike in Symphony of the Night, this time the Owl Knight is invincible when he is mourning his owl.
