Osca
From the Castlevania Wiki, the Castlevania wiki
Osca is Maria's pet owl. She found Osca sometime shortly after the events of Rondo of Blood and soon replaced her doves as her choice of attack bird. She fights with Osca in a cage in Castlevania: Judgment. She then brought him into Dracula's Castle during Symphony of the Night.
The first time Osca appeared in a game was in official Maria artwork of the original Playstation version of Symphony of the Night and is found perching on her shoulder. In the Sega Saturn version of the game, Osca appears as an Owl familiar when she uses the Suzaku spell. It will sometimes swoop down and forward across a great distance. An Owl familiar later appeared in Circle of the Moon which shoots arching pellets on command, although this was probably not Osca. In the Dracula X Chronicles version of Symphony of the Night, Osca and perhaps another owl or duplicate of him are used as her primary attack in much the same ways that the doves were used in Rondo of Blood. Osca was given a name in Castlevania: Judgment (she sometimes says "Good boy Osca") and is normally in a cage set atop a pole. While Maria holds onto the cage, he offers her a hovering ability and can attack with flaming flight pattern while Maria struggles to hold on. During her ultimate attack, he drags Maria around for a bit and breaks free from the cage and deals massive damage to her opponent, then lands on her head. In the opening cinematic, he is found observing the fight between Simon Belmont and Alucard and reports back to Maria.
