Cards in Castlevania 64 and Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness that fast-forward time to a particular time of day. The Sun Card changes the time to dawn (6am), while the Moon Card changes it to dusk (6pm). They can be used to more quickly activate devices or open doors that are dependent on the time of day it is, or change it to day to make certain enemies weaker. They can be dropped by enemies, found in torches or in the open, and purchased from Renon. As they fast-forward game time, using them too often with Reinhardt or Carrie will prevent reaching the good ending (see Charlie Vincent).
