Dual Crush Meteor

Meteor is an attack spell that involves multiple fireballs or a single large one raining down on the Earth, usually at an angle. It is often performed by summoning a magical creature.

Game Specific InformationEdit

Castlevania: Rondo of BloodEdit

The Meteor spell made its first appearance as part of Maria Renard's Suzaku's item crash in Rondo of Blood. A giant vermillion bird lifts Maria off of the surface, while countless small and large damaging meteors fly across, damaging almost everything on the screen (like Richter's Hydro Storm).

Castlevania: Circle of the MoonEdit

Nathan Graves is able to perform a similar move when summoning a Salamander by combining the Uranus Card with the Salamander Card in Circle of the Moon. A giant Salamander slowly descends from the sky, accompanied by countless fiery meteorites, small and big, raining down with it.

Castlevania: Harmony of DissonanceEdit

Juste Belmont performs the move when summoning a warlock by combining the Summoning Tome with the Cross sub-weapon. The warlock hovers in the middle of the screen and commands meteors to fall to the Earth with his staff.

Castlevania: Curse of DarknessEdit

Meteo CoD Icon

Meteo is a Mage-Type Innocent Devil ability in Curse of Darkness. It can be learned by evolving a Crystal Rod and then killing a certain amount of enemies while this I.D. is summoned.

Similar to its Harmony of Dissonance depiction, Crystal Rod is the one in charge to call forth a single meteor this time, which heavily damages any enemies that cross its path. Costs 40 Hearts per cast.

Castlevania: Portrait of RuinEdit

In Portrait of Ruin, Meteor is a Dual Crush performed by the game's two main protagonists, Jonathan Morris and Charlotte Aulin. In this version of the spell, both characters combine their powers to call forth a single gigantic meteor which slowly crashes on the Earth, inflicting heavy damage to all enemies on the screen.

Castlevania: Order of ShadowsEdit

Desmond Belmont has a Meteor alchemy spell that he is able to perform in Order of Shadows. When the meteor strikes, it breaks up and blankets the Earth.

Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the NightEdit

Alucard is able to perform a similar Hell on Earth spell in Encore of the Night, which involve many Dark Inferno energy balls falling from the sky at an angle. It instantly destroys all red blocks on Alucard's board and causes damage to the opponent for each on, depending on its level.
