Trivia[]
- In Trevor Mode of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, the item that increases Trevor's Heart meter is labeled as "MP Max Up" on the lower-right corner of the screen, despite the center text clearly displaying "Heart max up". However, for gameplay purposes, the meter functions much like the Hearts system from other Castlevania games; defeating enemies and destroying objects provide collectible Hearts, which can then be consumed to utilize sub-weapons.
- In Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, there are several MP Max Ups (as well as HP Max Ups) that can be found inside of secret rooms hidden behind breakable walls. However, their number is limited and if the player has already found all possible MP Max Ups in the game, the last secret room that should have contained one won't have anything inside, regardless of its location.
