The Iron Gladiator is an advanced version of the Executioner and uses a modified model of him. He has overall red skin, bears a huge and retractile spiked ball and chain on his right arm (unlike the Executioner, who has a spiked mace instead), and making honor to his name, he wears a Roman gladiator helmet on his dominant head. However, perhaps his most prominent feature is that he has two heads. In fact, the second head is actually a complete section of a torso of another creature to which the arm with the spiked ball belongs to, and which was apparently stitched together to the red monster's body.
The Iron Gladiator is a powerhouse that can knock the player away with every punch, by either smashing the ground, swinging his chained arm around, or firing it as a projectile. This latter attack will paralyze the player if it connects, leaving the player vulnerable for a devastating following blow and/or other enemies' attacks. The Iron Gladiator usually spawns along with several other lesser enemies, making him the main challenge of a given room, or two of them may appear at once.
How to steal[]
When he swings his chained arm, allow him to slam it on the ground (do not have your Innocent Devil out) as this leaves him open for an attempt to steal a Damascus Steel, which can be used to craft stronger equipment.
The Iron Gladiator appears just like he did in Curse of Darkness; however, in Judgment he is a sub-boss in Story Mode or a random encounter in Castle Mode. His attacks are the same from his previous appearance, but he lacks the "arm shooting" projectile-like ability that paralyzes the player.
