House of Sacred Remains

The House of Sacred Remains (聖骸共鳴院 Seigai Kyōmē-in, Cathedral of resonance) is a location in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.

OverviewEdit

In this area, Leon starts out inside of a cathedral and progressively makes his way down below into the crypts, passing through various libraries and study halls along the way.

NotesEdit

• The White Tiger Key can be found in this stage.
• All libraries in this stage have hidden treasures on their upper catwalks.
• The library located on the east wing's far end room has a revolving bookcase (hinted by the marks on the floor). Pushing it around will give access to a hidden room where one of the three switches to unlock the "triangle" door can be found.
• One of the libraries has a high catwalk with a door; unfortunately, it is surrounded by a metal railing. This catwalk was designed to be reached by making use of the Wolf's Foot relic. However, the necessary jumps can be achieved even without it. Leon must climb the catwalk at the center of the room, get near the one on the left (where the door is), make a jump toward the camera and then another jump in midair to the left, striking the railing with his whip to pull himself up. These jumps are quite difficult to perform, though, and many attempts may be required.
