The Guillotiner is an enemy in both Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Once they see the player, they divide in half revealing a sharp blade attached to the upper half. The halves fly around together and occasionally stop to close together like a guillotine, causing damage if the player is in the way. Their flight path is erratic, making it hard to hit them, and once hit, they seem to fly wildly away before they return. Other than their flying, they aren't difficult enemies if fought individually. Occasionally though, there are times when they are fought with harder enemies, in which case its better to take them out first before they become a nuisance.
