The Golems, Iron Golems, and Treants from Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow are large creatures that look different, but are the same dimensions and behave in a similar manner. The Iron Golem would get a new look in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and the Treant would return in that game and in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. Their basic behavior is based on that of Talos from Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, which involves making slow steps forwards and backwards, and occasionally making a downward punch or swipe towards their enemies with their long arms.
