A Gauntlet is an armored glove. It increases either STR or DEF depending on the game. Its magical counterpart would be the Magic Gauntlet, which increases INT instead or allows the user to utilize Alchemy.

The Gauntlet first appeared in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, where it adds 5 to STR.
It raises STR by 15 in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.
In Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, it raises DEF by 4 instead, which is greater than the Leather Gloves (+2), but less than normal Gloves (+7).
