Firemen are enemies in the Castlevania series.

Firemen are the first fire elemental enemies to appear in the Castlevania series. They are humanoid beings who have their bodies fully engulfed in flames, and which either set small fires on their path or throw fireballs that roll across the ground, making it impossible to block them with a shield.

Castlevania II: Simon's QuestEdit

First appearance in the series. Called Flame Throwers, these enemies are encountered near the middle of the game, in the Debious Woods. They pace back and forth at a moderate speed and throw fireballs in an arc which roll across the ground when they hit the floor in such way they cannot be blocked by the shield.

They are a bit resilient and the pattern followed by their projectiles means they cover most of the area in front of them, so ranged attacks are recommended.

Castlevania III: Dracula's CurseEdit

Firemen are flaming figures that pace slowly, leaving small flames on the ground that will burn the player should they touch them. Even though these fires can be jumped over, these enemies often appear in very narrow spaces, usually making it safer to wait until their fires burn out.
