- "A terrible devil, but a powerful ally -- if you can keep it under control. Fires beams from its eyes."
- — Description
The End is the final evolution form of the Devil-Type Innocent Devil. Unlike the standard way of evolving the rest of the Innocent Devils in the game, this form can only be obtained through a unique method which involves crafting the Chauve-souris spear and collecting 100 green Evo Crystals using it.
Description[]
Visually impressive, this I.D. evolution is very aggressive and quite effective on battle, without resorting to Hearts for special moves. It flies constantly with good speed and has a vortex-type chain attack (an attack that can be added on certain parts of Hector's combos). It can learn a new Magic Circle special ability, the Exploding M. Circle, which charges red glowing power by holding down the attack button, release to unleash a cone-shaped devastating explosion, similar to Abel's on the first battle against Isaac.

Trivia[]
- The End is described by the game as a "terrible devil" that can fire beams from its eyes (which are remarkably five), although no such effect is referred to take place in gameplay, nor in cutscenes.
- Isaac's personal Innocent Devil guardian, Abel, is a The End Devil-Type.
- One of The End's roars was reused for Biphron's death scream in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.
- Coincidentally, there is a boss character in the game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (also made by Konami) that was called The End.
