Tackle, also called Dash Attack and Blade Attack, is a special move that allows the player to charge forward and damage enemies while taking no harm in return.
It is available to Richter Belmont in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Portrait of Ruin, Harmony of Despair and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (along with Simon Belmont). It is performed by entering a special key sequence that changes between games. Richter races forward (defying gravity if in midair) and damages any enemy he passes through while taking no damage for coming in contact them.
Nathan Graves can perform a rolling tackle in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon after obtaining the "Tackle" Magic Item, which allows him to destroy certain stone blocks within the castle to access new areas. This movement also deals damage equal to primary attack and Slide, but Nathan himself can still take damage during the process.
