The Official Nintendo Player's Guide was a publication Nintendo released in 1987 in America that covered all of the games that have been released up to that point on the Nintendo Entertainment System (American released games only). The book had 162 pages and was Nintendo's first walkthrough publication. Ninety of the then released games had tips on how to beat the games, while a total of 160 titles were mentioned within the pages. The last couple of pages recorded upcoming video games that had yet to be released (some of which ultimately never were). The Official Nintendo Player's Guide came free with every Basic Set bundle.
It contains a guide to the original Castlevania.
