The Ice Armor is an armored soldier with icicle techniques.

Ice Armors are among the most dangerous types of elemental armors, as they are notorious for being able to kill the player with just two or three hits. Like all other armors, Ice Armors are slow moving and attack periodically. They attack by materializing ice spears in their hand, which they then throw straightforward. They throw two spears in succession: one high, which Nathan can crouch to avoid, and one low, which he has to jump over.
When an Ice Armor's spear hits Nathan, it will freeze and immobilize him. Similarly to the Stone status, being frozen greatly increases the damage Nathan receives, with the added hazard of having to wait until the effect ends, unlike with Stone, where the player can break free from it. Due to this particular trait, if an Ice Armor manages to hit Nathan with the first spear, the second one will almost assuredly hit as well, and likely halve Nathan's HP or just kill him.
Perhaps the only saving grace the Ice Armors have for the player is their item drop; upon defeat, they have a chance to drop the Neptune card, which allows Nathan to absorb (and heal with) elemental attacks. This will prove most helpful to Nathan once he collects it, as by that point in the game, it's likely that he already has the Serpent card, thus rendering a good number of the enemies present in the Underground Waterway relatively harmless.
