Goemon is a hidden item in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
Background[]
Goemon is the main protagonist from the Ganbare Goemon series and one of Konami's most renowned mascots. He appears as a hidden item in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and has also appeared in several mascot games which usually feature Castlevania characters. His weapon, the Gold Pipe, also appears as an item that Alucard can acquire in Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls. Additionally, the Coin Throw skill from this weapon, is based on his original Coin Throw attack from the series.
In the special two-issue manga New Ganbare Goemon: Chapter Hell, he fought and defeated Count Dracula alongside Pierre Belmont, Simon's alleged grandfather who he met in the underworld.

- Goemon is loosely based on semi-legendary Japanese outlaw hero Ishikawa Goemon (1558-1594), who stole gold and valuables to give them to the poor.
- In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Goemon appears as a Mii Costume for the Mii Swordfighter as part of Wave 3.
