The Gladiator is an enemy in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Though he's dead, this horseback warrior still seeks out battles.

Description

The Gladiator only appears in one room of the main castle, in the coliseum-like chamber of the Arena. They are encountered a second time much later in some hallways within the Chaotic Realm.

It consists of two skeletons: one steering an undead horse attached to an ancient Roman chariot, and the other firing multiple fire arrows from the back of the vehicle.

Upon defeat, this enemy may drop the Gladiator bullet soul, which grants Soma the Crush Wheel ability. If equipped, he can launch several wooden wheels which damage the enemy and roll along the ground at varying speeds depending on the floor's inclination.
