The Earth Demon is an enemy in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon.

Description

A demon who commands the element of Earth. It is the first demon-type enemy encountered in the game.

It telegraphs its attack by first raising its hand to its forehead, then a small wisp of smoke rises from the ground followed by a wave of stalagmites that move in the player's direction. The wave can be easily jumped over and does not change direction once it begins.
