The Cross of Gold is an item in Castlevania: The Adventure. It provides temporary invincibility and the player can even walk through enemies. While the invulnerability effect is active, the next candle Christopher breaks will have another one, allowing the effect to be prolonged until it wears off before reaching another candle. The "walk past" flashing effect works well on Big Eyes, as they can be used to get to the next area.
