For other uses, see Fairy (disambiguation).

The Fairy-Type is the first Innocent Devil Hector forges in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. It can be found in the second floor of the Abandoned Castle.

Description[]

These small creatures use their Heal ability to aid Hector in battle. Some of their forms also feature physical attacks, although they are very weak. However, Fairy-Types are useful, innately having the "Unlock" ability that allows Hector access to items in treasure chests hidden in some areas of the game. Fairy-Types cannot be damaged by enemies in any of their forms. Additionally, depending on their evolutionary outcome, they can Decipher the ancient inscriptions written by Sage Eneomaos found in specific areas, which reveal some useful information, as well as press a secret switch that Hector will find later, and alert him if he is missing an important switch. They also raise Hector's Luck stats somewhat.
