Burtgang

The Burtgang is a mystical sword of protection. It is blessed with divinity and is designed for defense first. Despite this, it does not have the holy attribute. It is found in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, and Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. It is the only sword in any Castlevania game that increases both DEF and CON. It is most similar to the Dark Blade in Symphony of the Night, which gives the highest defense boost of any sword in that game.

The Burtgang can be found at the end of a long hallway of spikes in the Clock Tower that require jumping on successive pendulums in order to traverse. It attacks in standard horizontal swipes.
