"Lord Dracula!"
— Draculina crying out her master's name when killed

Draculina is an enemy in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. This female vampire feasts on the blood of intruders.

Description[]

Draculina is one of the three types of lady bats under Dracula's command that appear in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (the other two being the Werebat and Lilith). She is a female vampire and appears as a nude, winged demoness who commands a bat to aid her in battle.

She attacks by taking flight as soon as she detects an intruder and then tries to swipe at them with her clawed feet or by commanding her bat to attack. The bat also provides her some protection, as it will keep on flying around her, making it more difficult for the player to approach her. If the bat is killed first, she'll be unprotected for a short period of time, until she summons another one.

Draculina appears to be the most loyal of Dracula's servants; if her own name isn't evidence enough, when killed, she'll use her last ounce of strength to scream in agony her master's name ("Lord Dracula!").

Trivia[]

  • Draculina uses a modified sprite of the Gargoyle.
  • Dracula's brides - Van Helsing - 01

Marishka, one of Count Dracula's three brides.
    (Van Helsing, 2004)

Draculina is probably a reference to Dracula's brides in their aerial form from the 2004 action gothic horror film Van Helsing. Both designs consist of a nude vampire woman with pale-bluish skin and bat-like wings affixed to her back, which mainly uses the claws on her feet to attack.
  • "Draculina" is a term in the manga and anime Hellsing rarely used to refer to vampires of the Dracula bloodline.
    • Coincidentally, the name "Draculina" was later used for the antagonistic younger sister of the comic book character Vampirella.
