The Gate and Entrance to Evil Castle is a location in Castlevania: Dracula X.
Overview[]
Richter Belmont arrives to the ruins of a long bridge that stands high above a vast lake. Only some columns and a few sections of it barely remain still, and as soon as he sets foot on them, they start giving in and crumble. Making matters worse, a group of Mermen ambushes him in an attempt to knock him off into a watery grave. As he manages to make his way across, the castle's drawbridge lowers itself as if to welcome him to the terrors it holds inside.
Richter first makes his way through the castle's exteriors and eventually reaches the main hall, where several suits of armor and other monstrosities attempt to hinder his path.
As he reaches the topmost floor, he finds himself in another open area, where Myotia, the giant bat, awaits.
