Dolores Belmont is a supporting character in Castlevania: Order of Shadows. She is the younger of Desmond's two sisters. She and Zoe enter the mansion ahead of Desmond in order to find the inner sanctum (and consequently the sacrificial altar).
History[]
Dolores and his brother Desmond and older sister Zoe are members of the ancestral Belmont Clan of vampire hunters during the 1600s. A recently formed group of followers of the Dark Lord, known as The Order, seek to resurrect Count Dracula, hoping to receive in exchange greater power and eternal life.
Sensing the connection between The Order and Dracula, the three siblings head to the Eternal Night forest and find a hidden mansion nearby where The Order is suspected to convene. While Desmond heads onward on a frontal attack, Dolores and Zoe decide to each go on their own way in order to cover more ground, hoping to find the inner sanctum that holds the sacrificial altar where they expect to find the sect's leader, Rohan Krause, whom is also suspected to be the responsible for their parents' deaths 20 years ago.
Eventually, all three siblings converge at the sanctum's entrance. Dolores and Zoe decide to go back into the mansion to search for more clues, while Desmond continues onward.
Desmond manages to find and defeat Krause and a recently resurrected Dracula. Dolores and Zoe arrive at this precise moment only to see the Count muttering his last words and fading away from this world.
