Deep Seeker is an ability found in both Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Gaining dominance over it, grants Soma the ability to breathe and walk while underwater. Its effects are identical to some relics found in other games (like the Holy Symbol from Symphony of the Night, or the Cleansing from Circle of the Moon), albeit it appears in soul and not physical form.

Game Specific InformationEdit

Castlevania: Aria of SorrowEdit

This ability can be obtained after gaining dominance over Skula's soul. As this monster doesn't appear in this game, its soul can be found inside a Soul-Keeper located in the next room after defeating Death in the Clock Tower. Jumping underwater repeatedly is possible and falling speed is slowed while gradually speeding up, while the Jump Kick is disabled until Soma exits the water.

Castlevania: Dawn of SorrowEdit

In Dawn of Sorrow, this ability can be obtained by gaining dominance over Rahab's soul. This time, however, Soma will have to fight and defeat the monster in order to claim it. Rahab can be found as a boss near the beginning of the Subterranean Hell. Unlike Aria's version, it is now an ability soul; that means its effects are permanent, without the need to equip it every time a body of water must be traversed.
