The Dance Hall is a location in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
Overview
As the Dance Hall is designed to resemble ballrooms in real life, it is filled with long hallways. A few statues and paintings are seen across the area. Chandeliers, which act as light sources in the area for the most part, hang above ceilings. An immense ballroom background can be seen in the Dance Hall's middle area.
Moving below ground, the Dance Hall has an underground area that resembles an ancient slaughterhouse. Whatever purpose this area was intended for is unknown, but most likely it was used as a storage place for meat and wines, as carcasses of some unknown animals hang overhead and wine barrels appear in some rooms as well. Strangely enough, some areas of this "slaughterhouse" are covered by dense fog.
With Malphas's and the Flying Armor's souls equipped, Soma accesses a previously unreachable area at the Castle Corridor, leading all the way up to the Dance Hall. Upon entering, Soma encounters an amnesiac individual simply known as "J", and learns from him a hint of the events of 1999. They part ways and, eventually, Soma departs for the Inner Quarters.
