For the equipment, see Crown (equipment).

The Crown is a hidden item in the Castlevania series. It's worth many points.

Game specific informationEdit

CastlevaniaEdit

A special hidden item spawned by standing in certain specific locations for a determined period of time. It's worth 2,000 points (twice the value of a flashing Money Bag).

Castlevania ChroniclesEdit

The Crown retains the same function, value, and method of spawning it in this reimagined version of the original Castlevania.

Castlevania: Dawn of SorrowEdit

Found in the Demon Guest House. From the Save Room, head up the big hall until reaching the room directly above it. Inside, there will be a Waiter Skeleton and a chair. Defeat the enemy, taking care of not destroying the chair while doing so. Stand in front of the chair and press ↑ on the D-pad to sit on it; after sitting for a while, the Crown will spawn in the middle of the room.

In the game's description, the Crown is said to be worth 5,000 points; however, when selling at the shop, it will only be worth 2,500 gold, half of its points value.

Castlevania: Harmony of DespairEdit

There are two Crowns to be found in Harmony of Despair:

  1. The first Crown is found in Chapter 2: Lord of Unseen Strings. In order to unlock it, play these notes in the following order:
    2nditem
  2. The other Crown is found in Chapter 10: Origins.

TriviaEdit

  • The description stating this item is worth 5,000 points in some games may be a throwback to some older Konami titles where mascots from their other franchises appeared as hidden items; specifically from the Famicom game The Goonies, where these items were worth precisely that amount.
