The Cronqvist family is a European family which had a long tradition of handing down alchemical secrets. At some point between 1094 and 1476, Mathias Cronqvist changed his name to Dracula Vlad Ţepeş. Ţepeş is Romanian for "impaler" and Dracula a title meaning 'Son of the dragon;' Romanian nobles in the time of Vlad the Impaler actually didn't use formal surnames, instead having nicknames or titles. While it appears Dracula passed his title on to his son, it's unclear if he married Lisa while using that name.
