Cream Pie is one of Jonathan Morris's sub-weapon skills in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. While it may be considered as a "joke" sub-weapon added to the game by the programmers, and without any useful purpose other than to amuse, in fact it can be really helpful for defeating the Whip's Memory (Richter Belmont) in one part of the game and liberate the true power of the Vampire Killer whip.
About two cream pies can be tossed at a time. They don't travel very far and they will start falling to the ground as soon as they are thrown. However, this pattern is what makes them most useful, as one can continuously spam cream pies to enemies who are in front and below the player. Jumping while throwing these can be very effective, and successfully performing a double jump while attacking will allow the player to throw two more.
Mastering Cream Pie and wearing INT-boosting gear (Royal Sword, Silk Hat, Royal Sandals, Blue Cape, Paludamentum, etc.) will greatly enhance the damage dealt by this skill. It only needs 100 SP to master, which can be easily achieved by attacking the first two bosses at least once with this sub-weapon and collect the remaining 15 SP by using it against normal enemies.
In the battle against the Whip's Memory, they can stun Richter for a considerable period of time if many hit him in quick succession. Additionally, they deal Dark damage, to which the Richter is weak against.
