Character History Edit

Castlevania: The AdventureEdit

Before Simon Belmont, there was the legendary Christopher Belmont who defeated Dracula, who was an evil sorcerer in Transylvania 100 years ago.

Note: This story was retconned after the release of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, as shown in the next section and the current timeline.

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirthEdit

Dracula is revived at full strength for the first time after his death at the hands of Trevor Belmont. Christopher Belmont picks up the whip of his ancestors and defeats Dracula again.

Note: Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is a remake of Castlevania: The Adventure.

Castlevania: The Belmont LegacyEdit

Note: The IDW Publishing comic Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy is a parallel story to the Castlevania: The Adventure and usually not considered as a canon to the current timeline. However, at least one version of the timeline features parts of the story.[1]

Christopher and his wife Illyana fought Dracula and his minions along with their ally, the Totoyans.

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge Edit

Fifteen years later after Dracula is defeated by Christopher Belmont, he comes out of hiding, kidnaps Christopher's son Soleiyu at his coming of age feast, and turns him into one of his minion. With the son's mystical powers, Dracula retakes human form and rebuilds his castle, forcing Christopher Belmont to confront Dracula once again to save his son and Transylvania.
